Fondazione Guido Berlucchi Prizes

The Berlucchi Foundation provides, on the occasion of the Pre-Congress Meeting and the National Biennal Congress of the ABCD 2019:

• two "Guido Berlucchi Foundation Best Poster Awards" to researchers at Italian research institutions under 35 years of age of any nationality, involved in oncological projects. Each prize is Euro 500,00;
• a "Berlucchi Award for Best Oral Presentation" to researchers at Italian research institutions under 40 years of age of any nationality, involved in oncological projects. The Prize is Euro 500.00 and a refund bonus, up to a maximum of Euro 1,500.00, to be used for registration, accommodation and travel expenses, for any event of Scientific Society in the field of oncology, including ABCD, no later than 31 December 2020.

Luca Daveggio Prize

The Luca Daveggio prize will be awarded to the best oral presentation selected during the premeeting dedicated to young researchers. The prize of 1000 EURO will be awarded to the winner with an official ceremony during the Congress on 19 September.

Luca Daveggio died prematurely at the age of 25 in the summer of 2013. Accepting the desire of his parents, we have the honor and ambition, awarding the prize to one of our young researchers, to promote the same ideal path of engagement, curiosity and love for life, which Luca had just undertaken.
